Wow, you nearly put me off FL Studio altogether with that.

I can tell what you were trying to do, but it just hasn't come out right at all.

it doesn't come out right because:
A) I used a bit-crusher (Reduced bitrate between 16 bit and 2 bit, and between 44khz and 0.1Khz samplerates) Instead of finding good effects for the bass, cause I'm a lazy bastard
B) I didn't try for the drums... at all

Here, give me a minute to drop the effects, and upload a short loop of a clean bassline.

---edit
This part was less than 2 minutes of work.

This isn't music Miles. I wholeheartedly fail to see how anything you've posted would raise someone's opinion of Dubstep.

If someone has said, flat out, that they don't like one kind of music then throwing more of it at them isn't exactly going to help.

If you don't like dubstep, Why would you go into a thread about dubstep, Knowing you dont like it, Only to complain about it?

Thats not music, thats not even proper ambient noise. thats static, IE White noise. static and white noise are not pleasant. If your referring to my links to Radium and LOGHM, Those are Powernoise. Note they have distinguishable sounds, and rhythm. as This guy and other industrial artists demonstrate, any patterns of distinguishable sounds (IE not static) can be musical. Furthermore just because I enjoy dubstep, does not mean that my other interests are shared by all fans of dubstep.

Why are you posting power noise in a Dubstep thread? It's an entirely different genre.

In hope that someone else here likes both dubstep and powernose, and can scrounge up a song that is both?

Seriously though, Its not that different, They both use extremely loud abrasive basslines. they aren't *entirely* different. Thats like saying trance and stadium house don't have anything in common, or thinking that synthpop and industrial dont mix (which is darksynth, aka futurepop)

That's not my point. I'm not talking to them, although what you said has some truth in it, retaliating against them just won't work.

I think everyone here who likes dubstep should make a track together. That sounds like a wonderful occupation of time.

Post Re: Dubstep
Well I've got something else to share... This song is NOT dubstep, BUT the first 25 seconds of it contains what seems to me to be a slow Dubstep bass. It's only during the first 25 seconds. the only reason I'm positing it is that it was made in 1987, despite Dubstep only starting around '98, and only being it's own genre in 2002.

Remember, Just the first 25 seconds, otherwise its "progressive Funkyhouse", and everyone will probably hate it... remember, just 25 seconds. I totally found this on accident.
