Gotta try that out. Anyway, yeah crysis is a really good game. I have both the original and warhead, and I play wars quite a lot. A very good multiplayer experience.

Do yall know if I keep all my stats/level/guns etc from my 360 version of MW2 if I use the same gamertag in the PC version?

And I don't know if I should buy a couple games or those awesome sound-proof headphones.

Yeah, I never play on Easy, so I just changed diff_easy in C:/Program Files (x86)/Electronic Arts/Crytek/Crysis/Game/Config/ and made my suit energy instantly regenerate, changed cl_strengthscale to 7.5 (Maximum Strength punching force is multiplied by this), g_walkmultiplier (speaks for itself) to 2.5, etc. etc. And so whenever I get bored I just start a new game on Easy and wreck ♥♥♥♥.

HOWEVER

There is one thing, Grif, that I insist you do. Load up Sandbox2 (I assume you have it, yes?) and load...any level will do. And say, load up island.cry, and then play through that level. BUT...spawn, say, a MOAC/MOAR and go around freezing everybody and that's ♥♥♥♥' epic. Or, say, spawn a VTOL right by you and go around blowing everyone to nothings with it. But...that's not what you MUST DO, as I'm sure you've already DONE THAT.

Load up SB2, and sure, you could just place some Koreans on a custom level and do this, but I just load up, say, village.cry. That's the level where you have to rescue Helena Rosenthal and then bust up some tanks. Then, go to the Rollup Bar, under Archtype Entities, Aliens, and then spawn some Aliens. I just place 'em around the KPA base, and it's fun watching how the KPA gets slaughtered. You can join in if you want, but I usually use ai_ignoreplayer 1 or whatever the command is. You can watch them get torn to bits by Troopers, spawn five or six Scouts and watch them get sliced up by ice shards, or, my favorite, spawn a MAZHERFACKING HANTER!

I just love watching it grab a KPA truck, toss it at the gas station, then freeze people while grabbing others and tossing them around. EPIC!

Well, uh, the multiplayer for PC MW2 is sad.

Thanks to no dedicated servers, you don't really "run a server" like one would normally. You simply have a party and the one with the best pc and connection becomes host.

You remind me of those kids that play age of empires just so they can use cheats and feel awesome.
Use sandbox to make huge, epic battles, or massively difficult outposts swarming with enemies that you have to take out with a sincere amount of caution and then limit yourself to the AR with assault scope and the shotgun (pistols can come too if you want). Using it to get the ice guns and freeze the koreans in the first half of the game just feels weak, but that's me being a slimy elitist and telling you how to play your game, so meh.

@whitty: personally, I prefer bad company 2 to any of the COD games, but I suppose it's a preference thing. FPS game are a seldom-enjoyed thing for me though, I prefer not to spend hours and hours doing the same thing. The reason I like bad company more is it widens the scope a little more by letting you cut a path through the (still linearly designed) levels, not to mention providing a bigger playground for my sniper rifle. Give it a go if you get the chance.

I played BF:BC on my xbox a while back, and I loved it.
I say BC2 being played, and I thought it looked choppy. I didn't really like it.
But I loved the first one.

Okay, I like a challenge, but I don't have the attention span to make huge bases and then fight them. That's what singleplayer is for; Delta mode is hard enough when I restrict myself to using the FY71. And I like ♥♥♥♥ around with the MOAR/MOAC. The only reason I use cheats/rape ♥♥♥♥ with the VTOL during Campaign is because sometimes I think it's FUN to be incredibly overpowered. No, I don't play through the main campaign on Easy with infinite suit energy; I play through it on Normal/Hard/Delta with no modifications (other than ai_usealternativereadability = 0, because DIE YANKEE DOG! gets old pretty soon). So no, I don't just blast through the game with cheats on, unless I feel like being ultrapowerful for a bit.

And come on, placing Hunters all around the map is fun.

The first sentence is why me expressing my opinion like that was being elitist: I feel like it's a travesty to use the editor/console to give yourself superpowers because on some level I feel "above" that. It's a dickhead thing for me to do, but I still do it. Sorry if it's offensive, you're free to enjoy it however you like, obviously.

I can't remember, it wasn't on Crymod I don't think, but someone made 'vehicles' that were the Hunter, Trooper and Scout. Like, as Scout you could fire their weak-ass MOAR/MOACs, then as Scout you could fly around and fire MOAR/MOAC, and drop in friendly Troopers. Then, the Hunter, you could use it's MOAR/MOAC, grab and toss trucks 'n' such, that sorta thing. It was pretty epic, but I can't find it.

EDIT: Goddamn, Zalo, I swear I have seen you everywhere. The Pixelux boards, I think, and on Fun-Motion, and now on the Crysis boards? Hmmm....now that I think of it, it wasn't just CryMod, I'm pretty sure I saw you on MyCrysis.
