Yeah, sorry those instructions were for vista. Try and find system information anyway.

system information doesn't say anything about it, can you just upload the 64 bit install for me?

Do you have
C:\Program Files
AND
C:\Program Files (x86)?

If you do, chances are you have a 64-bit operating system.

I have just plain program files, but my computer DOES have a sticker on the front that says AMD Athlon, and it says 64 in the bottom left corner.

Don't feel like explaining what that means. Windows key + pause break should tell you if you have 64 bit.

I already said it, it doesn't say anywhere in that window if I'm 32 bit or 64 bit, at least not that I see.

Here try this. When you plug in the controller tell it to look for this file.

Hax, my computer blue-screens as soon as I plug in the controller. And the win+r thing didn't say if it was 32 or 64 bit, I'll take a screenshot of it, see if you can decipher it.

x86 = 32 bit. It's on your processor and system description.
In case you're wondering, x64 is 64 bit.

Have you tried using the controller on another computer? it might be the controllers fault.

iirc it is ia64

Edit: apologies, I am wrong. ia64 is for Intel Itanium servers. Whoops.

I don't have another computer. And this controller works on my xbox just fine, so I don't know why it doesn't work.
