Re: World of Warcraft
Duh's ever changing avatar is oddly fitting for his posts.
My sister planned on getting a trial, I tried getting a trial but it told me to do all of this boring stuff I didn't want to do so I didn't get the trial.
As far as I can tell, I hate MMORPGs even though I really want to love them.

Re: World of Warcraft
I can't play Mmorpgs. I'm too aggressive to play. I tried WOW, and Eve online, but I kept getting killed because I attacked anything that moved.

It's just a question of being able to balance. The problem with WoW is that some people just aren't capable of balancing their priorities. Some people get so caught up in wow, they forget to do homework. Others get so caught up they forget about friends. Even moreo thers get so caught up, they forget to bathe. The number of functioning members of society who play this game is staggering. Unfortunately, the outlier people who forsake everything in their life except for WoW are the ones we hear about. It never ceases to amaze me when someone I work with finds out they play wow and I say "Yeah, imagine that: Someone not meeting your social stereotype." Miles, if you had problems with WoW, you're going to have problems with any video game. If you have prioritization problems that are that bad, WoW is not the cause, it is just how your problem is expressed. Oh and loot at you, Jamesy. 5/5 Valorous. Mr Fancy-Pants =p

Re: World of Warcraft
WoW's only fun if someone you know plays it. I actually knew a guy who'd play with his girlfriend.

Mr Fancy-Pants =p I had the same social life I had before WoW, my problem personally, was finding a job, but then again, Even without wow I haven't found a job, the difference was, durring that time frame, I didn't try. I still bathed, talked to people, did other things, the problem was, whenever I wasn't already doing something else, I was on WoW. CC doesn't do that to me, Maplestory and 2nd life don't do that to me, Guitar hero doesn't do that to me and neither does playing an actual guitar. WoW is the only game that has done this to me. as for everyone else, I've never met anyone who plays WoW that was stable.

Like he said, many people just dont say they play it, but so many actually do without anyone even knowing about and maintain their social life
