Someone should post some newsgroup satire articles from the nineties.

Re: is your son a computer hacker?
I've never seen it before but damn did it scare the crap out of me. For a second I thought there were parents stupid enough out there to take this seriously. Then I saw the "Why do you fear hackers?" poll on the side and fell over backwards laughing. That and the AOL thing. Yes dad, I want to switch from AOL to look at dangerous mind melting pR0n, not because it's a freaking tin can with a piece of string network. I also didn't know child laborers were skilled enough to solder CPUs together [SARCASM]

Re: is your son a computer hacker?
I would like to personally thank the user "Vagyr" for directing me to this site, it was extraordinarily helpful. I never thought that my son could have been susceptible to the inner hatred of the tubes. Thanks to this site, I was able to recognize what my child was doing, and stop him from ever hacking again. Unfortunately, I had to resort to selling his computer and grounding him, but it's for the better.
I suggest everyone take this site very seriously, Fox news says that computer hackers are the future terrorism, they are like "hackers on steroids" and their only motivation is "for the 'lulz'".

God I hate you Coded One
On topic, this article is funny to read, but is complete crap, lies, plus it's old, and it was a troll.

Re: is your son a computer hacker?
Shadow, this article is full of sarcasm and lies on purpose! *gasp* I have to agree with miles here, the jokes would be funny, if I had read this 5 years ago. :/ I'm being more negative lately... is it because I'm spending lots or time around computer radiataion?

A. Noone's impressed. B. If anyone who mattered here decided to take that as a threat, you'd be going to court pretty quick.

Re: is your son a computer hacker?
I'm pretty sure it's illegal to hack flash games even. Also, I think your even lying about that, as most flash games have some kind of encryption on them. Anyhow, Ophanim is correct, Noone's impressed.

And if he's doing that then it won't have very much encryption either.... well very much beyond "The score is actually stored as eight times its displayed value" or some such, which is easy to break with a rudimentary knowledge of maths...
