Girlfriend is still pissed that Fable doesn't let you choose a female character, and thus she won't get this new installment either.

That being said, I would assume Fable 2 is a good game, seeing that Fable 1/The lost chapters was a good game. I have yet to get it though.

Notice how in all RPGs there is that one armor that has the highest defence or highest stat raising thing? Everyone would be wearing that armor. Peter wants everyone to look unique. Roy. For christs sake. You are right for once. Thank you Roy. Good point good post. They could have made 6 or 7 sets of each type of armor, and allowed us to color them. We'd have just as much variety, then.

Re: Fable 2
But with the exact same problem Roy mentioned.
Any RPG with multiplayer is going to have something that boils down to "best equipment/biggest ♥♥♥♥♥♥" wins. Whoever spends the most time playing is going to win guaranteed. This isn't necessarily bad, but a GRINDAN GRINDAN game isn't, I would guess, what Molyneux wants.

Well a variety of non-attribute altering armor would have been nice.

Terrible simile. Point is I don't want my level billion and a half dude who slaughters a couple hundred people a day to be dressed in frilly pants and a ♥♥♥♥ feather hat.

Re: Fable 2
Hardcore people can carve up a whole turkey with a butter knife (bonus points with a spoon).
Back on topic, maybe lionhead could have made a variety of special equipment with unique visual styles and special effects (a sword that sends enemy ragdolls flying, etc).

Ragdoll system + gravity + some bugs = EPIC
Weapon customization wouldn't be that bad...
