Re: Google Chrome
I adore Chrome but for it's making me use mIRC. Which I hate.
I can't get anything to work properly on it, I wish there was a version of chatzilla for Chrome.
Still, I've no other criticisms for it, it's so intuitive and easy to use.

You are not going to see the same amount of scalability you have with Firefox. It's called bloat, and google is trying to kill it.

It doesn't matter, because of people like TD there WILL be unnecessary addons for it.

Re: Google Chrome
With 72 tabs open in firefox it is currently using 32mb of RAM. Enjoy your bad operating system?
By the way anyone that uses anything other than mIRC to connect to the IRC is doing it wrong.

Re: Google Chrome
I find your glut of windows disturbing... But the 4GB of RAM is nice.
On Google: Chrome Interface and idea of increased security is nice, but the lack of options turned me off immediately. The history setup is imo stupid and not very intuitive at all. Made worse by being the only way you can display it. Lack of plugins is excusable, since it's beta. Speed was not noticeable on this computer, but it's a 5 year old Dell server box. Not made for speed, that. Lastly, privacy mode. It's kinda funny how they harped on each tab being like a separate process, then they force you to open a new window to go into privacy mode. *Friendly neighborhood mod - Please use the enter key and avoid page-stretching posts. I took care of it for you.* Alright, thanks.

Re: Google Chrome
I got it. I like it; I hated how one bad tab could ♥♥♥♥ me over browser-wise. The Gmail desktop icons and such are nice too. I can see this becoming my new browser.

Re: Google Chrome
I <3 this browser. It reminds me of opera speed-wise, (and automatically searching from the url bar) While actually being quite a bit more compatible.
Except with chat. It can't even run Google chat. (how ironic)
Hopefully it will be a bit more customizable soon
also the non-invasive auto-complete made me happy

Re: Google Chrome
It's alright, I suppose, but I miss my plugins and for some reason it won't play java >_>
