It's true; large bones often have blood vessels runnnig through them: bone marrow creates red blood cells along with the liver. The vessels also carry calcium to the bones to help them grow and remain strong.

Yes, but bone marrow isn't all red.
There's also yellow.
And it's a bit thicker then actual blood and so won't shoot out like that.
It's actually very similar to flesh except.. not.

Well what about that very rare condition? The symptoms include it being a comic, a useless argument, and an inconsequential fact. Seems to explain the current case.
