It's the thing that keeps all the icons and stuff up.
For now, I have a temporary solution (just manually running explorer.exe). We are getting a new computer soon anyways.

Add a shortcut to your startup folder. Dunno where it is in Vista though.

Try to go a minute without ntoskrnl.exe. I guarantee you won't be able to, that is the backbone of Windows.

Also, making a shortcut to launch it won't work SINCE THAT'S EXPLORER.EXE. Clearly you have no idea what explorer.exe is.

You know what's strange?

I think I've been going months now without ntoskrnl.exe.
