Re: Fractals, go.
Fractals. Are. Full. Of. Fudge. Win. 1.75 hours to render at 10k quality. Don't remember this one, but it probably took 5 hours or so on my old PC. There's a ton of awesome ones on dA, and there's dedicated fractal artists. Lotsa tutorials scattered around the web for certain fractal 'styles' and stuff. Of course, I'd like to plug all my own - here.

EDIT: what was here was ♥♥♥♥.
Where can I learn to use this thing, and how do I get rid of that dithered look?

Re: Fractals, go.
The faded and sort of scratchy look could be a good thing in some cases.

Re: Fractals, go.
New Apophysis version out, by the way. 2.08 beta. I've tried it out and haven't quite gotten the hang of the new xaos stuff, but I'm sure there's info about it floating around the internet by now.

Re: Fractals, go.
Looks nice, I made a 8000 quailty one, but it doesn't look any different from a 2000 quailty one. Just longer rendering time.
