Re: SOLDAT
I'll try Soldat again. Let's get a Data Realms server going. Also: /j into #soldat on the IRC. Hamachi Network: DRL_soldat pass: drl

Re: SOLDAT
You know what CherryT? That used to be an excellent idea. Then Soldat updated! Oh what a wonderful update we've all been waiting for. Make all the bullets bigger then people's heads, and the networking scheme an even bigger piece of shit! Now many people, even though they are not behind routers, show up with 9999 ping on the server list when attempting to host. A++ job. The only version of soldat that was ever worth playing was the older version, before that major update. Even then I'd only play it for dodgeball as all the battles are full of hackers and people who play soldat too much.

Re: SOLDAT
Crashed my computer so hard I had to reboot.
Constant nag screens and "you must register to use this feature" make me question "100% free".

Re: SOLDAT
bah, i like soldat. its a good game... i love knife matches, Realistic mode, then theres the Ruger.. it sucks balls on realistic... hard.. anyway, PvP isn't that bad....as long as you play on your continent servers... (EU's on EU's server etc) mainly due to lag issue, but some ppl seems not to care Anyway, sometimes i host Soldat server, on realistic mode. I'm opinion only mod worth playing...

Re: SOLDAT
Ruger's an awesome weapon in realistic - you just need to know how to use it. And people that get yelled at for using the "noob" weapon know how to use it. Same goes for deagles >:D

Constant nag screens and "you must register to use this feature" make me question "100% free". Because $10 is a ridiculous amount of money to spend on a game that is otherwise totally free to play, right? If you don't want in-game music player, custom jet colors, custom interfaces, etc, don't register. It doesn't effect the gameplay at all, so stop crying.

Re: SOLDAT
100% free suggests that there is everything for free.
You just gave a list of features that aren't.

You just gave a list of features that aren't. I think that she meant that the essential gameplay is all free, although I admit having 'premium content' that costs $10 says mostly free to me. I don't really know how to classify this at all. Anyway, I tried Soldat a few months back and if there's a DRL server, I might join in. I'll probably suck, though.

Re: SOLDAT
the only soldat worth playing outside of SCTFL is #sna.gather on quakenet irc. What it does is when 6 people !add it gives you a passworded server and assigns teams. All of the really good people play in the gathers, so unless you want to get destroyed you should stick to the public servers for a while.
also stop nitpicking trowserdemon you're a shitty troll
