Post Re: The Lounge
I am a very patient and very organized person. For instance, I once manually planned the entire invasion of the Soviet Union as Germany in Hearts of Iron 3. I spent six hours on that invasion plan, came up with a date that I estimated would allow for a few research projects to finish while also providing enough time for the military to receive the upgraded equipment.

When the final date came and I opened up my operation Barbarossa, everything went off without a hitch. So well that the USSR was annexed by August 1942. While the invasion was going on I took control of an army in Northern France and launched Sealion with the intent of puppeting the British Empire. That was also successful.

Suffice to say, I love strategy games. Turn based, real time, grand and 4x. Though I do not back down from a fight, either, and I'm not above proving my boasts to people if need be, as my brother learnt in one game of Europa Universalis 4. If my plans fall to bits, oh well, time to make something up on the fly to salvage the situation and buy enough time to allow me to draft a new plan of action. I tend to mirror my work to clockwork, though. In a strategy game of any kind, I tend to get things moving like a finely tuned machine. My economy in Victoria 2, for instance. I kept the game paused for a long time. Several real life days, infact. I'd come onto the game, do some planning then come off several hours later with my plan expanded. I ended up with an economy running like an engine. Every factory turned a profit, the quality of life, immigration, literacy, all rose like a rocket. A finely tuned military-industrial complex was born. For the economy to run at maximum efficiency, the nation needed to be either at war, or building up for a war. Under my rule, the United States became world hegemon as of 1890 or so, having annexed the entirety of the Americas for myself.

So yeah, you can say I like planning. If something is important to me, I will plan for it. Unless it's an RtD, since planning that shoots myself in the foot by rendering the possibility for the plot to be predicted.

Funny enough, I did think that, actually.

Trapdoor spiders seem pretty cool in all honesty.

I give them my thumbs up of approval.

Imagine just walking with sandles on, and one of them pop out of the ground and break off your big toe.

Yayyy alcohol again ew spiders are gross don't talk about those. Today I was getting a table out of the shed and there was this little cotton like sac stuck to the underside of the table and it had these black dots and I was scared a bunch of spiders would burst out.

Caekdemon lol you seem like the opposite of me I work best in spontaneous bursts of do or die. When I try to plan ahead of time it feels like my body physically fights me all the way well this isn't always true in Pokemon I plan like 5 turns ahead but I don't know if that really counts. Also some other stuff I guess but most of the time.

Sometimes I plan, sometimes I don't. I'm not usually focused enough to create a well laid-out plan.

I don't bother trying to plan, it usually goes up in flames. Life constantly surprises me. Probably because I lack real context or understanding.

I'm an adaptive person who likes to explore the unknown. Sometimes I plan, mostly I don't.

I don't know though. I don't believe in justice, laws, or always telling the truth.
But generally I'm an honest person, but I am a huge advocate of going morally questionable things
Grackle sounds a lot more like me:

"Talking and chatting, talking through a problem, 'talk therapies,' beware of saying a lot of words with very little meaning, using others to get what you want, socialising, finding large groups of people beneficial, deception, being able to problem solve very tough, resistant or difficult situations, engaging in problematic behaviours, urban wisdom and environments, self-expression."

you are always reasonable when you choose not to agree with those things though- i think you try to rationalize most things, even though you are huge into discordianism. crows are also philosophical symbols iirc

Post Re: The Lounge
i remember being at the sonoran desert museum a few years ago and there was an exhibit with a deer and a wild turkey in it, and i was stunned at how striking the turkey's plumage was. like people think of turkeys as grey/brown but when you are up close in good light you can really appreciate all of the tones and patterns. then an old woman walked by and nudged me and said 'the deer sure is cute but why hasnt someone shot the turkey and put it on the table yet?' rude. turkeys are fierce, beautiful animals. they are warriors.

edit: wolves? curious to hear your explanation
