It just happens that there is a pretty comprehensive list about why Civ 5 is worse than 4, it's a strange thing, but that's something. I want to create something that's called the Mack Continuum theory. Everything that ends up being the 5th part of a series ends up worse than it's predecessor. Civ 5. Sim City 5. Resident Evil 5. (Fight me. I dare you.) Warcraft 5

 Re: The Lounge
Civilization V isn't really worse than CivIV. It fixes some of the problems, like the horrible combat system, and the expansions bring back dropped features, such as religions. And to be honest, Civ V's hexagons are way better. No more diagonal speed boost!

 Re: The Lounge
I quite like Civ V, and I've played 2 and 3. Not 4, but eh. The hex change is nice.

I do miss unit stacking, though. It made warfare more fun.

Eh, it made it more of a ♥♥♥♥. Attack a city, kill the defenders TWELVE TIMES, finally get to invade it.

Nowadays you have to attack a city a ton of times just for the same result. Sure, sieging cities if you make a circle of melee + artillery is easy, but you could do the same thing in Civ 4.

The only thing I miss from 4 is global warming, I used to love that end game, made things so much more interesting.

I got the indie bundle 8 and payed six dolla for like five more games I beat Thomas Was Alone, and Proteus so far. The other aesthetic features of the game subdued my indifference towards lo-res games. What next? Awesomenauts? Hypeline Miami? I'm saving Dear Esther for last.

 Re: The Lounge
Damn I remember when I use to play Civ3 a lot. Sometimes I use to play Aztec with their double speed barbarians. Sometimes you would be able to kill entire nations in the first few rounds by getting lucky against their sole military unit. That's one thing I didn't like about Civ, the highly variable combat. Would be interesting to a play a DRL game of Civ some day, that is if turns didn't take forever.
Also I just saw the movie Stoker, which I have to recommend really highly. The general plot leaves something to be desired but the atmosphere and pacing are some of the best I've ever seen.

Doesn't matter had sex not really have you ever thought about how close "not really" and "no really" are and how much this post would've changed if I had left out the 't'
