caekdaemon wrote: Just completed Remember Me, it's a damn good game and I'd seriously recommend giving it a spin if you get the chance. I was reading a bit about how the developers really had to fight the corporate culture to get the female protagonist. It also had a pretty interesting premise so I'm really looking forward to playing it.

I completed Off today. For around a month I've been trying to avoid saying "beat Off"

But most of the time I played it around Prince difficulty with aggressive AI. In Civ V, watch out for the Russkies with their double resources. It makes them deadly till the renaissance, then deadly again in the modern age with double uranium. Arabia is also extremely deadly in the late game, what with extra oil. Me, I tend to go for early game wars. Sieges are fun. In my current game, I annihilated the Chinese next to me before they plopped their third city

 Re: The Lounge
Greeks try to take a 1 tile island right next to me? War with that city until they let it up, give them a rather agreeable peace treaty (They offered a bunch of money, I just wanted the city they would've lost soon anyway.) Mongols try to attack my City State ally? Team up with Greece, India, Iroquis, and half the world to take them down. I'm the only one who fights them. Round one, they ♥♥♥♥ themselves and peace treaty. I get a city! Round two, I eat their capital. French have now put THREE dinky little colonies on great areas of expansion for me on parts WAY out of their way. They were going to die already for being French, but now I have a reason.

 Re: The Lounge
The moment I meet a civilization I usually declare war. After ending the Chinese, I went south, ran into the Celts and invaded him, just before the medieval age and I annexed them. Next I hit a bunch of mountains and on the opposite side is India and a bunch of other nations. For the first time in game, I am at peace by the renaissance and back to war in the early industrial. Damn inland sea, I'd have conquered them.
Never had my game last into the modern era, I usually have a conquest victory by then.

I want to create something that's called the Mack Continuum theory. Everything that ends up being the 5th part of a series ends up worse than it's predecessor. Civ 5. Sim City 5. Resident Evil 5. (Fight me. I dare you.)
