Weasel left but Data asked TLB and the old admins to make it nicer from the inside, so that's what we've done. Instead of strongarming, we steered it more gently, so it took longer and was more gradual.
Haha now that I think back, I was steered pretty hard with that one month ban (later reduced to two weeks). But it's water under the bridge now. And I suppose that was kid gloves compared to the iron fist of weasello.

Yeah, I take full responsibility for that one. I was a little worried at the time that Data was upset with the direction the forum was going — he'd actually told weasel to just nuke and pave the place several times. Unfortunately, that meant being harder on people, especially when it came to being rude to newbies. I may have overdone it in that case. But, on the plus side, things seem to be fine now and people are generally being pleasant!
