They simply enhance the talent that is there. More advanced programs, such as photoshop, do allow for a lot of advanced effects much more easily produced than in MSpaint. For things like blurring and feathering we're talking a LOT of saved time. I can reproduce dishwasher results with a rag and some soap...but I'll let you guess which one is easier.

Anyway if it just enhances the talent that is there what does it matter what program he used? All people ask for is "OMG HE SO GUD I SHOULD USE THE PROGRAM HE USES."

All people ask for is "OMG HE SO GUD I SHOULD USE THE PROGRAM HE USES." Or they could be an actual artist wanting a better program, this is after all the art dump. you know, for artists.

capnbubs wrote: Bub's WIP gameI guess this qualifies as art since there was a lot of texture/geometry work involved I see you use Unity. I prefer Torque, but on to my actual post. I do a bit of 3D modeling, and I think it's decent enough to show here. First, a laser cannon. The barrel goes back with recoil, then the handle on the side is pulled back. Want to use it for a game. Second, a nice dock. Made for fun. Also a random 2D picture. Definitely not my best tablet work, I would have posted something better, but... yeah... It's... say... "fancy"...
