Isn't that because marrying a foreign white guy would mean that they'd have more money than if they'd stay home?

Nope. one dude I know moved to their village and sucks at manual labour, but tries to contribute. he's pretty much dragging them down versus a local boy.

Eh, I meant "marry a foreign white guy" = move away. Though if he's more popular in that village, it could be just the exoticness, right?

Hehe, I was going to mention that Daman.
Though I think that movie is stupid, in every way, it was probably was meant to be.

Already got beaten to Sir Mix-A-Lot. Darn it.

I don't mind about body, really. Morbidly obese is where I draw the line. As well as anorexic.
And I tend to normally go for girls who are slightly shorter than I.

One thing I need in my lady is that she has to be confident in her self-image. That means no makeup, pantyhose, or asking if she looks fat every 10 seconds.

(does anyone use pantyhose anymore? I see them in movies)

caveat: though I respect ladies that don't shave I don't personally find it attractive, which is contradictory to my previous statements and I don't care

confidence is nice, but not the pompous "i'm better than everyone else around me" kind. as Roosevelt said,"speak softly and carry a big stick". confidence, modesty, knows how to take a compliment.

i actually like the tights/pantyhose look at times, not when it is to cover up, but when done correctly it can make some pretty neat designs. and it's also for temperature control and for avoiding varicose veins(or so i am told). and if you have ever been on track in a cold area you would have worn a full body thermal, which is very similar and pretty damn comfortable. i now wear it for snowboarding and when track comes around.

Quote:
A good many of you are probably acquainted with the old proverb, “Speak softly and carry a big stick — you will go far.” If a man continually blusters, if he lacks civility, a big stick will not save him from trouble, and neither will speaking softly avail, if back of the softness there does not lie strength, power.

saying the required words in order doesn't mean that he actually said that

congratulations on being one of an infinite number of people who can, have, and will forever misquote him on that

Just because a man says something doesn't necessarily means that he understands it, and yes, you will probably use that against me because it is the truth, but i used the quote simply in that context. You have no need to be overly critical on the usage of everything from weapons to quotes, but if you so wish to be that way, fine.

Ermm...that phrase, I think, more refers to actions speaking louder than words, or something. I don't think you're using it right, but I might not be either.

well to avoid confusion I'll try and clarify how i intended to use it. speaking softly would be taking things with modesty and with grace, while carrying a big stick meant she was willing to defend herself. i agree it may have been vague though.

Alright. And yeah, my girlfriend doesn't wear makeup, besides nail polish. I think she looks great like that, and makeup looks odd on her. And yes, I will bring her up at every opportunity in this topic.

Yeah, I agree with this.

Also, I went out with a girl with red hair (not orange, RED. CRAZY MAN) and green eyes.
She's terrible, she can have any guy she wants and knows it.
YOU ALL DIG THE RANGAS.

On the subject of natural selection, and the replies to my own comment, what I meant was this.
As it stands, people who were much less likely to have kids now are more likely, which results in more issues in humans.
That said, there are still smart beautiful people having kids, so even though our gene pool might be worse when averaged, we still have a whole bunch of useful people.

And if the apocalypse comes, they'll be the survivors, which is actually the COMPLETE version of Natural selection.
(High school biology revision!
Species has huge population
problem: new predator, disease, whatever
members of species are suddenly threatened, only good ones survive to make babies)
So it's less an ongoing process and more one that occurs in waves.

TL;DR Climate change: have a plan involving surviving and lots of babies.
