Re: Fun Old-ish Games
The only RPG game I ever played was fire emblem. Those were epic times. And yes, It's a tactical RPG dating waayyyy back from the NES days.
The series was only released internationally when SSBM was released because of Roy and Marth.

the old Elder Scrolls games were good. apart from the huge, crippling bugs and glitches like falling through the landscape.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_R-Type was the ♥♥♥♥ man. I have it emulated on my DS now. It's one of the more difficult side scrolling shooters out there, for reasons listed in the wiki article I linked.

I used to have that game. I never beat that either, because I lost it, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in TimeTMNT was really great fun, but hard too.

Rollercoaster Tycoon. I realized yesterday that my friend had been borrowing the game for years now. I went to his place, snatched the game, and ran away laughing like a maniac. Now I enjoy my epic park of deathcoasters. :3

I always made the coaster with that went up, stopped, then fell back down. I then put the death-o-meter up to a billion and watched as the faces of my thrilled costumers turned into faces of horror as it flew of the end, the passengers flapped their arms trying to fly to safety, but it was too late! It had already plunged down the grand canyon and exploded on impact with a laser-osaur's!
Dramatisation, may not have happened.

Dramatization, may not have happened. I wish everyone was awesome like you. XD Who remembers this game? One of most fun racing games I have ever played, in fact I think it was my first racing game.

I was introduced to it as the N64 version. That was my childhood console. And a bloody good one at that.

Re: Fun Old-ish Games
I once played Roller Coaster Tycoon, built a rubber tube ride, but it had a flaw. The tubes would come to a standstill at one point in the ride. This happened once, and another tube came from behind and hit the first tube. They both exploded.
