Re: Dwarf Fortress
Let me see your arena-to-be. Make sure one of the stones to be dumped is shown in the (k) menu. Also let me see your dump (on the z-level they'll be dumping from) Make sure it's in zoning mode (i) and highlight your dump zone.
I get the feeling I know the cause of your problems, but I need these two screenshots to be sure.

Re: Dwarf Fortress
Bwahahahah! I love the way that DF can turn me from a normal person into a vicious tyrant. The baby-masher at the bottom of the Fortress of Ultimate Darkness in the Mountain of Ageless Doom is working well. Guess where the meat for my meals comes from.

I get the feeling I know the cause of your problems, but I need these two screenshots to be sure. No look. My dump works because it's full of 9000 stones and miscellaneous objects. I'm only complaining because of all the other dumpable things I have to dump and it's taking them ages to get round to my arena. Also I'm an impatient person. Also it doesn't matter that much if it takes longer because it'll just mean I catch more goblins, and possibly more werewolves. Currently it's 6 unarmed goblins versus 2 werewolves, I have no idea which side is going to win (werewolves killing efficiency seems to vary in every fight). I'll see if I can remember to record a video of it :V Also czar you can't eat Dwarf Babies. And things crushed by bridges don't leave meat. So unless you're somehow crushing them some other way and edited the dwarf files to make them butcherable, I have no idea where your meat comes from.

You know, you really could've SAID that in the first place... You might try not dumping so much stuff at once, eh? 2. Unarmed goblins are pretty much useless in a fight. Werewolves will shred them to pieces 3. Dwarves are actually BUTCHERABLE_NONSTANDARD by default, but that only means they can be slaughtered through the butcher's shop by some method. This baby-masher would seem to be upright spikes or something similar, not a crushing drawbridge, because that crushes EVERYTHING and leaves NOTHING. (Except demons)

Do wells make dwarves happy because they are INTRINSICALLY DANGEROUS TO EVERYTHING?

As far as I can tell they make dwarves happy because they don't have to go outside to get a drink. That would make me happy too because they wouldn't keep being eaten by werewolves. Maybe I should get a well. ... And make sure to dig an escape tunnel for it.

Re: Dwarf Fortress
Have an escape tunnel in the well. It could lead into the main fort or whatever.

We've got awful nice engravings of some ♥♥♥♥ cheese here, come the ♥♥♥♥ on in! That is hilarious and now I wish I understood how to play this game.

Re: Dwarf Fortress
I think DRL needs a succession game. No mods, no prospector, no reveal all.
Players?
