Well either you're joking or you're not aware that EA is such a ♥♥♥♥ that they don't put their games on steam and instead went so far as to set up their own massively DRM heavy service.

So uh,

Tomb Raider was a really good game.

How long was it, I just got it downloaded, but barely dipped my feet into Metro 2033 and don't know which to play first.

Metro is both an excellent book and game.

I haven't gotten into Metro yet but,

Tomb raider is everything Uncharted but smoother and more engaging (Not that the Uncharted was a bad series). The running feels like running, the jumping feels like jumping, and the shooting feels like shooting. There might be a couple hic-ups here and there (Ex. No gravity jumps) but its nothing that ruins the experience and is easily passed by. Plus this new TressFX thing for hair looks utterly fantastic, only if your PC can handle it though.

The game has this linear style level design, but also mixed in with some free roam. You go on a single path throughout the game like any other linear style game but you are given the ability to fast travel to other previous points in the game where there are things like secret hidden tombs and collectibles that you may have missed and can revisit whenever. There are a couple of RPG aspects to the game as well like upgrading your weapons or spending skill points, but it's nothing major.

Firefights are nice and clean and are especially fun with the amount of parkour/free running you can do around the field. Close-quarters combat might not be as fluid but still fun. Stealth mechanics are like a cruel game mode in Metal Gear Solid. Once someone see's you, you're seen and the battle breaks out. But makes it all the more challenging and rewarding when you hear your enemies talking in the background about how the new guy sucks while you stick a climbing axe in someone's neck.

There are very few Cons that I could spot and a metric ♥♥♥♥ of Pros that I came across.

Well I just acquired Supreme Commander and I'm looking forward to playing that.
