Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Ultima Online?)
I know Alenth is playing UO, and he probably told Venn where to go, but for everyone else: http://www.abcuo.com/home/This is the FREE server on which we are playing on. Go to the Download and Connect tab at the top of the page, and follow instructions to start playing UO for free. Also, the game is a little daunting at first, it definitely has a learning curve, very fun once you get used to it though. Join IRC channel #UO for help playing and a map server link thing that allows us to see where we are in the world of UO, and chat over a private channel of our own. For those of you who do not wish to/cannot go on the IRC, here is a link to the map server thing called UOAM. http://www.uoam.net/setup.exeOnce you download it, click "Start UO auto map" then click on the button called "link" at the top right, then link controls. The IP is 24.110.156.189. Hope to see you in-game! If you cannot connect, it is probably because Daman is not hosting at that moment.

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Ultima Online?)
What the. I just invited people on the IRC to play UO. A requirement of playing UO is pretty much getting on IRC.

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Ultima Online?)
Get mIRC from mirc.com. Go to file options. Go to server. Add a server.
cortex.datarealms.com port 6667
Enter whatever for the rest. No password. Hit ok. Connect.
Or you can skip connecting and type /server cortex.datarealms.com then type /join #UO into the main window.

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Ultima Online?)
Bah.
Only because Ultima Online is a game that I've been wanting to play for some time now.
I'm in. Chatzilla mysteriously disappeared, and I have to wait for the download to finish before I can restart Firefox to finish the installation of a new copy of it. Curses. EDIT2: UOAM seems to be working properly.

I demand that we stay on UO. Primarily because you guys have gotten me addicted to it.

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Ultima Online?)
I really have no idea what I am doing in UO other than that I am somehow outdoing most of you economically without any trade skills.
Also no magic.
Also I can't kill anything past trolls.

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Ultima Online?)
Tibia has a ridiculous ammount of servers and is really active. Thats if you mind having BR? BR? yelled at you every ten seconds. I like it better then UO, I don't know why though.

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Ultima Online?)
In Tibia, you have to TALK to them. As in : "Hello" typed in the chat bar. And only one person can talk to each one at a time.
