Re: Art Dump
So... the reason I've been reading up on Prom's technique is so I can make a scene that fits with the original art style of CC. Here's my attempt at a backdrop.bmp in the same style as Prom's, I'm planning on using this for a scene in the next beta of the Crobotech pack.

Looks nice, looking forward to the full thing.
Planning on any new modules to go along with the map?

Re: Art Dump
yes, but I'm not sure if they'll make it into the next beta, depends on how difficult I find them.
What are the most important bunker module parts?

What are the most important bunker module parts? Tunnels, silos, brain bunker, and doors.

Re: Art Dump
Tunnels are the most important. However, in a custom scene the cool custom bunker things like silos and brain rooms are important.

Would that be a snow map you are going to make? Now that'd be awesome. EDIT: How do you manage to get awesome looking sky gradiants? Everytime I try, the colours don't seem to be close-looking enough.

Re: Art Dump
hrmm... I loaded the CC palette into photoshop so that I could see what gradients CC already had, then tried to pick something that wouldn't get too fudged up by the conversion to a paletted bitmap.

Re: Art Dump
Why did everyone forget corners and T-junctions, if we are expected to make a base with these, we need them too

Re: Art Dump
You should do the brain something like this.
I know you have already done one, but maybe you could put your brain inside it.

Re: Art Dump
That's pretty cool krumbs, but a little too clean and bright for a Crobotech installation.

Re: Art Dump
Yeah of course, but you could draw your own dirty version. That is just an idea drawing done in 3 minutes.

also I present... A FACE! (no reference, sort of caricature-ish, randomly selected colours, obviously all by me, one layer used, done in photoshop) full sized: Attachment:
