Post Re: The Lounge
My uncle came over and brought his grandson. I busted out some K'nex for him to play with but ended up playing with it myself after he had left. Any of you guys ever play with K'nex?

Just made a revolver thingy. You have to rotate the cylinder manually but it shoots relatively well and I'm proud of it.

I was always a LEGO guy myself.
I could never build anything with K'nex.

I was never really into lego or knex.
I was always a bionicle man, that is until ♥♥♥♥ got silly with the 5th generation.

ah, the golden years.

Bionicle was kickass.
And then they started having them launch things, aside from the basic Exo Toa missiles, because those things were badass. And sorta the sphere launchers.
Both of those could put someone's eye out, and thus were cool. The rest just, uh, sucked.

LEGO guy, too. My brother was into K'nex, and I just never quite understood why. The appeal for k'nex seems to be mechanical/functional sorts of designs/tinkering, yet technic lego pieces seem to to just about everything knex can and a whole lot more.

And yeah I liked bionicle a lot too. Middle-early sets of them, anyways.
I thought the whole switch lego made, dropping bionicle and making hero company or whatever because bionicle had too many confusing names was stupid, and yet now I'm having trouble remembering the names of the bionicle characters and stuff... like, any of them. I still think a bunch of overly confusing stuff to engross yourself in is way better than being purposely generic, though.

Rahkshi is one of them, and probably my favorite.
Or Rahshki I don't remember.
Anyway they're those ones with the hunched backs and the small heads and the weird slugs in them. You know the ones.
I had a ♥♥♥♥ book of Bionicle lore and creatures and ♥♥♥♥ and it was amazing. God the figures inside were awesome and the lore was excellently written. Really immersive for a toy universe.
I really like the Glatorians too. They were some of my favorites tbeh.

(maybe you can make it out behind all the dust of my filthy room, maybe not)

Lately I've been using a 2x4 block on my desk as a stress relieving desk toy sort of thing, skewering it with needles and breaking it's inner supports with a key and such.
IT'S OKAY THOUGH.
It's actually just a megablock.
