It looks like the picture we see here is made up of a pixelly grid thing, and so is the picture we see in paint. So I can assume there are two grids of pixels, one makes this picture and the other grid makes the other grid picture.

Still no idea why they change which grid appears on the forum and which appears on paint, but whatever.

P.S This is the third time I've tried to post this. The other two times it was like "Someone else has posted!".

What are we looking at here? All I see is some girl in field with some annoying pixels covering the image...

Download it and open it in paint. Your eyes will be amazed.

The only two ways I could think they did this would be to have it somehow be two images encoded with only a few bits difference, which when opened changed to the other image, or if the way browsers opened images differed from editor programs.

Yes, I can read. i saved it to my computer and opened it in paint. nothing.

EDIT: ♥♥♥♥, ♥♥♥♥, ♥♥♥♥. I got it to work. sorry for my ignorance. That is pretty crazy.

EDIT: Yeah, it's the Levels. Each black dot in the browser,
and each white dot in paint are slightly different colors.



Here's what I got after a bit of tinkering in paint. I managed to expose
the outline of the previous picture by using some of the Not-So-Fancy
Transparency tools that paint has. If I had more patience and more time
I could completely convert it back to what it was.

No idea what it is, but I did a little experiment. I coloured both of the background colors for the two different versions red and compared. Its very odd.

This could be using the same method people use to turn pictures into .zips, im going to try and open it with WinZIP.

For the record, Safari on a Mac sees the forest in the original posting, then it sees the kawaii girl in the posting with the red-i-fied background..
