Post Windows 7
So, guys, who here uses Windows 7?
I am right now, and i must say, i am impressed. Its faster than Vista, less resource hogging and overall better than i imagined.
Please give feedback. Also, its free, legit, and everyone can DL the Beta version to use it and to test it. :)

I'm sad now.

Friggin idea of getting Vista, I don't see why Windows thinks that adrenaline-hyped workers are so good.

Vista isn't and never was a resource hog. It caches the unused memory instead of letting it go to waste.

Anyway, i'll probably get this when I have enough time to spare. Looks awesome.

That's funny. Vista is currently IDLING at 30% used memory, on a 2Gig setup. Nothing in the background [Yes, I subtracted firefox]

But read the second part of his post; it's Vista using Superfetch to make programs start up faster. If something needs the RAM Superfetch will purge its cache.

W7 is currently using 40% of my 3GB. Am I worried? Not at all. Everything loads damn near instantly and games have no problem using that RAM when they need to.

In pretty much every department assuming you have a machine that can run it... I've heard it runs fine on a P4 with 512MB of RAM.

OS X is still the superior operating system. Snow Leopard > W7.

Shame about the lack of mainstream games though.
