If she wanted to kill Chell she could have done so much more

And tracking missile launchers and infinite turrets.

Also giant turrets and fat turrets.

And the possibility of opening portals into space.

Keep in mind, she didn't actually want to kill her, she needed a test subject, for science
Once Chell had reached her usefulness Glados decided to kill her, but then she failed, wouldn't you place more than one rocket turret in your AI chamber?
