My dad went through a stage of using photoshop and he decided to get a tablet. He asked around at work and found that the Bamboo one people liked the most. He got it and i agree. it easy to set up, easy to learn and better than my friends terible one.

personally id recommend the intuos 4 medium. got one a few months back. brilliant piece of kit. my mate at university shelled out for the large one and tbh i prefer not having to move my arm around as much to draw and navigate the pc. and you can always zoom in to get more precision.

cintiq's are nice and i use them quite abit at uni, but they have the problem that traditional mediums have, that your hand covers some of your workspace etc. duno why but this seems amplified on a cintiq. also it had noticeable lag.

bamboo's are ok.
