Post Ferrofluid
Hello, my people, I am on the search for a supplier of ferrofluid. I'm sure you esteemed members of this board know what that is. Now, do any of you know of a place where I can get some for cheaper than others? So far, the cheapest place I've found is here. It'll cost me roughly forty dollars for that half-cup of delicious, seductive ferrofluid. But anyone who may have bought some to ♥♥♥♥ around with before know where I can get it any cheaper? I'm pretty damn poor, so that forty dollars is a lot to me, and any help would be appreciated.
And before anybody suggests this, I'm too lazy to make it myself.

Sounds like metal poisoning.

How about 0.54 Ibs. for around $80.

You really should just make it yourself using toner, you can get a lot more.

I'd say United Nuclear, but theirs is also pretty expensive, but you can order in smaller quantities.

I know, right? Like, if I ever get enough disposable income to do this, I want to buy like a tub full and a huge-ass rare-earth magnet or just make a giant-ass electromagnet so I can have a giant glob of it suspended. Because touching it would feel weird as hell.

And Grif♥♥♥♥ DAMMIT I mean Zalo, I would, and I probably will when I stop being a lazy ♥♥♥hole, but in the meantime...

Thanks for the responses, my lovelies.

Grif, this is the third time that I've confused you and Zalo because you both have four-letter red text and brains.
I love Zalo the most because everywhere I go I see him

Oh what? Darnit, what am i going to do with this dumptruck full of lima beans?

@Ociamarru that stuff looks like some pretty neat stuff. Experimenting with it may be entertaining.

If you get this I would like to see what happens if you suspend it in a ring of magnets. (as in suspending it in some container, not the magnets suspending it... and outside the container is a single ring of magnets.)

That'd be a fairly interesting pattern, with interaction between surface tension and magnetism.
