Re: HUGE lag!
Everyone seems to be thinking that it's a problem inside one of his Windows files. If it indeed was a virus, a SMART virus, it could have looked for applications on your computer (Steam, MSN, Internet Explorer) and replaced their .exe with an infected version. You could check this by looking at the .exe's last modified date. However, it is very rare viruses are smart enough to perform that severe of actions, just wanted to throw that possibility out there.

Stop posting. So far every post I've seen you make in this forum has been utter bull♥♥♥♥. First: Viruses are not "smart". They only do what the programmer tells them to. Second: If someone made a virus that hides in steam, I wouldn't even worry about it. Third: It wouldn't mark a modified date at all. So in conclusion, I say stop posting before you break my desk. I'm hitting it rather hard with my face.

Good, hit it some more you unintelligent ♥♥♥♥. A programmer can easily make it so a virus looks through your files, finds steam.exe and hides itself in it, and from that point it could make itself an installer of the virus, so you run steam.exe and it installs the virus all over again. And it would show in the date modified unless there is some way to hack Windows in order to bypass that.

Re: HUGE lag!
I never said the programmer couldn't. I just said you're dumb for thinking viruses have intelligence. Read better.

Obviously when I said a virus would be intelligent it would be the fact that the programmer could make them that way, of course I don't think that one might have it's own brain and thought.

You have yet to prove to me that that's not a viable course of thought for you.
