Something odd happened to my computer, should I be worried?
To put it as simply as I can I had my computer on and went to use the bathroom. When I got back my computer had apparently crashed and was restarting. Now I wasn't particularly worried because I had thought I'd seen this happen before (occasionally my computer would just restart itself and come up to the screen that says 'Start in Safe Mode?' or something, and I would just start it up normally with no problems) but when I attempted to start it up normally it came to the Blue Screen of Death and just restarted it the computer. After the computer restarted itself it did the exact same thing. So eventually I started it up in Safe Mode. To make a long story short I ended up attempting to do a system recovery, which apparently failed because it did the same thing afterward. Being really pissed off I went and had dinner. When I came back to the computer I started it up and it worked normally, which is how I am posting this here. For reference I am using a Vista (which probably contributes to the problem). So anyway should I be worried?

Yes, you should be worried, your windows install is corrupting. Back up all the data you want to keep and reinstall Windows (Or hey, maybe have some fun with Linux!)
Edit: Pyro forced me to post this...

Pyro is mean to people. Most of the problems Vista has is with compatability, not with random crashes. Were you running anything at the time? Do you have good antivirus installed? Did you forget to wash your hands when you went to the bathroom and infect your computer with germs?

Had to get rid of the drive. Windows wouldn't start right with it connected.

♥♥♥♥ making Venn be my puppet. Tim: ♥♥♥♥ you. Alenth: Sectors on the harddrive going bad is usually the case, it can be fixed, but it generally costs more than an HDD. Mainly because it's a ladylike to do. Wildstar: Not entirely sure if it works in Vista, but on XP you can right click on My Computer, click manage, go to the event viewer, and check if ♥♥♥♥'s going wrong there.

Well I took venn's advice and it seems to work fine, and from what I've been reading on the web it sounds as if reinstalling Windows was the smart thing to do.

My OS and most of my stuff was on my current 80GB drive, the 40GB died and we got rid of it.
