The way you make a CYOA is you write a story beforehand, list all the possible things that can happen, draw every scene, character, etc. beforehand, and those rare occurences when someone suggests something amusing or unusual, improvise.

ok where now
ok OH NO FALLING

Re: The Crash Except that's a great way to handle a CYOA? Of course he doesn't mean you should plot out every single possibility, but you should handle the general direction the story is going to go in.
