Hey guys, i made us a Battlefield 2 server. look for Cortex Command BF2 on the online multiplayer section.

Well, I have over a hundred hours on BF2, but then I got kinda bored of it. Then I got 2142, and I have a bit under 100 hours of it, but I got bored, though I still play occasionally. Now I have TF2, and I have over 100 hours of it, and I'm still loving every second.

So to put it short, you're somewhat obsolete. If you can convince enough people on here to join so that a decent game will be running, then sure, I'll join. That probably requires having a set time for everyone to be on, though. Also, Imma snipe you.

EDIT: also, make it a 16-player server with a 16-player map. I hate it when there are 8 people running around a huge map just because they get their choice of vehicles that way. We're never going to get 64 people to join, and honestly, 16-player maps can be quite a bit of fun.

aw man. I just got 2142 reinstalled, but I lost my BF2, so I can't play that.

It seems like Battlefield 2 is finally dying out, which is a shame because a year ago DRL would have eaten up this topic and we would be on there 'til the next build came out.

Well it sucks because those games are still limited to like 1024x768 resolution or whatever. It hurts me.

I like all the city maps, but that's mostly because I played single-player quite a bit and the bots suck at using vehicles. Any maps, I'd say.

Honestly, if we just get a list and set up a time, I'll be there in a (muzzle) flash.

whoa! still a huge bf2 fan, cause im not the type of person to buy 20 different games... i'll be on tonight, if anyones on!

what we should do is have trusted ppl from this forum be the admins (i know, nobody knows me, i prolly wouldnt be one) and try to keep the server up with people in it as long as possible. maybe make a DR clan
