Post Re: GTA 4 (SPOILER ALERT) (Don't Read If you want no spoilers)
A couple of friends and I were playing Rocket Sumo on a tall building. I was doing pretty well when somebody knocked me off, I soared off the building, landed on another player, and got a kill for it.

@ Roy: It's a lot easier to die, I don't know if tanks would be a good idea.

Yeah cause there's lots of military bases in new york that you could steal a tank from.

Rockstar is intelligent enough to not add content that can only be acquired by cheating. Since there's no way in hell a mission would have you stealing a tank in the city presented, it's not done.

GC?

Gettable content?

I'm going to assume you mean DC.

I suppose it's possible, but I still doubt Rockstar will do it. Unless they just make a "Fanservice" pack that includes all the ♥♥♥♥ fanboys want (planes tanks parachutes jetpacks etc). But if they ever made that (unlikely), it would naturally cost money.

Which would cause fanboys to ♥♥♥♥♥ even more and say it should have been in in the first place if Rockstar could implement it so easily. Which will probably cause more headaches and in general be a bad move.

Unless you meant gamertag, for some odd unrelated reason.

In that event it's "Samurai Steevoh". Without quotes, obviously. It's my stepbrother's xbox and gamertag.

I don't see anything wrong with a "fan service", especially when it could up the replay value and general enjoyment of the game considerably. You're a lying bastard if you think tanks, flying cars, or some kind of winged aircraft wouldn't be awesome in GTA IV.

Apparently I'm a lying bastard then, because I see little benefit of flying cars and tanks. Planes would only be vaguely useful if buildings were destructable. They aren't, so they wouldn't be. Honestly, I only want planes in liberty city if I can do WTC.

Tanks could be fun, but they just don't FIT with the liberty city rockstar has made.

If buildings were destructible, that would be awesome.

Why in the sweet jesus ♥♥♥♥ does there have to be a benefit? What's wrong with pure enjoyment?

Well, R* is going to make downloadable episodic content.
Unknown what it might bring.
Confirmed to bring more missions after you beat the game.

EDIT: If they make a "FANPACK", wouldn't that add tanks and planes to online DM or something?

It MIGHT add planes and tanks and such, but probably not.

You can't really enjoy a plane when you crash it into a building every other five seconds.
So no, I really doubt they'd add planes.
Tanks, maybe. Planes, no, just no.
