battalion wars 2 (BWii)
This game looks great! I'm going to buy it today. I'm a huge fan of war strategy games and this game looks great for me. I've seen lots of videos and reviews on IGN. What do you guys think of this game?

Is it out in the UK? Also stop making these stupid polls. Just put "Yes" or "No" >_>

I'm not sure if it's in the UK. I see no reason for it not to be... I'll look into it some more.... Sorry for not posting links. http://youtube.com/results?search_query ... ion+wars+2 Youtube search. http://wii.ign.com/objects/849/849911.html IGN stuff.

I have it, it's pretty cool, but the campaign is kind of short, that's the only bad part, but it's very fun.

Is it only for the Wii? I've played the first one on GameCube, but not much because my friend who has it never lets me play a game on singleplayer for more than 2 seconds.

I just had a little trouble with the targeting. Other than that, it's fun.

Re: battalion wars 2 (BWii)
It sure as heck looks like it. That's the first thing I noticed, actually. Anyway, I got it for christams and have yet to actually try it. I'll let you know what I think when I do. The first one was fine except for the ending. It kinda sucked for me. The last level was nigh impossible the first 10 or so times for whatever reason. I finally achieved victory, and moved into the final cutscene. Nova beats up Übel, Vlad grabs Nova. Large tank with all Frontier generals comes in through the wall... "Put him down," shouts Brigadier Betty. Kaiser turns around and stops mid-frame. And stays that way. Apparently the disk was having trouble being read. And so I cleaned it... And missed the final cutscene. What an ending.

Re: battalion wars 2 (BWii)
I got it as a recent Christmas gift.
It's not too bad of a game, but not quite as great as I expected. Targeting the enemy I wanted was sometimes a bit iffy, and giving the proper orders to my units can be a bit more challenging than necessary. (Especially when you want a group of units to go somewhere and stay put, only you can't do that unless you actually have them follow you to a spot and command them to wait while you're trying to effectively coordinate your attack against waves of enemies.)
Perhaps, if they tuned up the RTS aspect of it a bit, BWii could have been something quite spectacular.
(Maybe I should go back up and actually make some progress, though-I'm only on the second Western Frontier mission, its campaign being a flashback for some reason. I would think that they would keep things in chronological order...As for my not playing it much, I don't really play my Wii or other consoles all that much due to my PC addiction.)

Re: battalion wars 2 (BWii)
I'm not a fan of the game. Too slow paced for me. (Then again after about 5 playthroughs of CoD4 I think a lot of games are gonna be lacking a little something now)
I didn't play for long, but I didn't think it was very good. I'll try again some other time but for the time being I'm not a fan of it.

Well, I tried it out. Controls are definitely improved, and Brigadier Betty no longer looks like an emu!
