Tarchoss munitions, making quality weaponry and equipment for low-fund companies.



Some of you may have seen my other topic, 8Ball Industries, in the WIP section. Unfortunately that was scrapped; the sprites were so inconsistent it was driving me mad. Thankfully I still had a little inspiration juice in me, and came up with Tarchoss.

Weaponry list (as of now)
Mag-less Kinetic propulsion pistol, Models 4 and 5
Differences - 4 fires heavy rounds, 5 is a pdw
AR-6 CKR Assault rifle
M-REV Chainsaw

Key - The Tarchoss P4-6es are the kinetic pistols. Size varies depending on purpose, some have magazines, one does not.


Pack features
Two to three framed weapons for all of those 'Omfg it doesn't have a working slide!' nuts
Full sprites for the guns that do use magazines
An Offhand version of the Tarchoss P4
Bluuuueeee muzzle flashes!

If you have any questions please ask. if I didn't mention it, this is my first pack.


Weaponry statistics
AR-6: 40 rounds, high RPM, high damage
LRSW: 5 rounds, medium to low RPM, medium damage [unless headshot]
P4: 12 rounds, medium RPM, high damage
-P5: 20 rounds, very high RPM, medium damage
-P6: 4 rounds, very short range, low RPM, high damage


on another note, I know the guns are kindof op. I tried not to make them this way, but,

yeah, go look at saw and yell at them please.
another thing, the icon is supposed to look like a wolf.

If someone downloads this and happens to be unhappy with the sounds,

I basically had no ideas other than weapon shape and type when making this pack. All of the guns are built off of the same base model, so they have the same [varying lengths of course] barrels and firing mechanisms. the only differences are projectile types, weight, and shell type.

that's also the reason that all of the guns are named 'Tarchoss'. they're all models of the Tarchoss P-1 Prototype [Which I may release in a later update]

Why's there a Ratchet head as the module icon? It looks great, though.

Anyway, the guns need some typical first-mod-tweaks. So, uh, here are some things I'd like to point out;

    - The sprites look OK, but they need some variation. I suppose you're still working on this.
    - Offsets need some minor polishing, but that isn't really something to point out in a 'first' mod.
    - Nearly all weapons are pretty OP so far. If you're going for a serious and balanced mod, I'd recommend lowering the power.
    - The sniper rifle is awful terrain-rapey. I thought you'd have noticed that yourself.
    - The guns seem to eject shells even though you stated that some of them use caseless ammunition.

I guess this could have the potential to become a decent mod. Keep working on it!

I did notice the terrain rape and i'm attempting to fix it

The sniper and assault rifle are basically modeled off of eachother, the pistols are all the same weapon, just modified to fire different rounds. there will be many different weapons added.

Definately expect a new sniper rifle, I hate the current one.

Also, what did you mean by the offset issues?
