Also included are suppressed versions of the classic weapons.

Retro Vanilla Map Pack
This pack includes Grasslands, Horizland, and PromGrounds. They are all near the mid-right of the planet.

Here's a video showing the Green Clones in action on Grasslands. View in 720p mode for the best image.

Interesting. That video's really old, though... has this been in development for a long time or are you just rereleasing some old maps/units again but updated to 1.0?

This video is from build 1.0. I'm using a b24 mod that replaces the team icon with the old hearts, instead of the Roman numerals. I'll put up a higher bitrate video and some pictures, I just wanted to get the mod released.

I started working on the clones during build 26. I couldn't figure out what was making them silently crash the game every time they appeared on screen. It turns out there was some vestigial code referencing a holster that didn't exist.

Thanks Asklar.

Ok, I added a header image, and uploaded a better video. I also patched the maps to have new descriptions and fixed their backgrounds.

I brought these clones back because I felt the new troops can withstand too much damage. It's almost like playing Demon's Souls with these - you really have to stay out of harm's way or you'll die quickly. You also can't land at 50 MPH and expect to walk away from it. To see the hidden original blue and green clones, add the line
Code:
IncludeFile = Base.rte/Actors/Clones/Clones.ini
to the end of your "Base.rte/Actors.ini" file. They've been buried in the code for a while.

Pretty new to the world of cortex command, But I'm going to assume these maps won't work in the metagame right?

Whoops. Sorry. XD The quality of your video made it look quite authentic to the B24 style, too, I guess.

Looks great, though. :D

The Prom Grounds map is lacking gravity.

Thank you kind sir. I love my lovely blue clones.

We all know you love the blue clone.

It's almost like it popped out of nowhere, right?
