A quick little mod I made to hopefully encourage others to release some of their own as well. Right now, its pretty much just a resprite of the coalition flamer, although I might add a few scripts for a more realistic freezing effect if I find time.

Downloaded it, tried it. It looks lovely when firing, it does decent damage, it totally looks like it'd fit into vanilla. Awesome, man. Awesome. |

I'd also suggest a gradual freezing mechanism, where an actor must get blasted with the weapon enough times to be frozen. Maybe using global variables, or having the particles detect if there's an actor nearby, and if there are additional particles nearby. The particles stick, so they might add to the variable attached to the actor. |
