EDIT: Also, could this somehow be implemented into an attachable jetpack-type-thing under tools? I have no idea how the coding works, but if that is within reasonable achievability I would keep this mod in my Cortex Command folder forever.

its really hard to fly! i keep falling! grrr....nice mod tho...in my opinion thers probably better mods in the contest...also if this werent a contest entry it should be put in minor mod dump.

It is actually a part of an upcoming update for my Trappers faction, so I am going to close (if a moderator will help) after the mod contest is over. Though I actually believe even if that wasn't the case that this would be allowed in the mod releases.

That is completely possible. The only issue is that you can't attach an attachable on an actor by lua, so you should artificially attach it through lua, but there is small problem with that it would settle if it was made a MOSRotating and be crushed when laying down if it is a TDExplosive :/

It's way too fast for a glider. Tone down the speed, maybe make it less finicky.

It technically isn't a glider, if you are using the jetpack while flying with it ^^
And also I have added a slight air resistance when flying in any direction, but if I increase that force much more the actor would look like a paper ball when falling, due to the low gravity of cortex command.
Also it would be even more useless compared to the standard issue jet pack ^^

Fantastic mod when it works, Funny as hell when it doesn't.
It is a little hard to get going. The actor likes to keep vertical when the glider is deployed, making turning around and taking off a hard time. Otherwise, it is fun to play. I think the glider should be made more breakable (it is fun to have your glider break off while you are really high, and watch your actor fall ) but that's just my opinion.

The problem is that AHumans in cortex command have a weird 'supernatural' stabilizer force. It makes it a pain in the ass to fly. Hopefully someone have figured how to force a AHuman to be dislodged.

Well it can take 25 hits before shredding each hit gradually making the glider not provide as much air resistance as well as less precise controls. I think it has a decent balance in terms of this. Originally it could only take 15 hits, but it quickly turned out to be extremely annoying unfortunately :/

I didn't know they could get hit at all. It seems to only break for me when it gets hit by an explosion. Most of the time the bullets fly right through it without any indication of damage. If the bullets do hit it, a nice bullet mark would be nice.
