 Space Templars v.0.4
This is my mod, The Space Templars.

Story and Units: The Space Templars are newly arrived cyborg humanoids, they have started a crusade against the dummies and are having great victories. Their units (only 2 for the moment but i am making more) is consisting of two types: The usual Space Templar, wich is a light class soldier, and then the Heavy Space Templar wich is a VERY heavy class soldier with thick armor that is hard to break, however when it is broken they are highly vulnerable.

Weapons/explosives: The Space Templars mainly use a energy source called tesla that they generate, and comprimise into small cells, that they use as ammo and explosive. But they also use ordinary metal caliber ammo for some of their weapons.

NOTE: Many of these weapons/Explosives effects was made by Whitty, cred goes to him.
The armor on the heavy space templar is originally from him but all pictures and draws are made by me. ( except some of the effects)

This is my first mod and i hope all of you that download it will enjoy. :D

I tried the tesla bomb and a few guns. My general review would be something like "I'm never gonna check this mod again." It had your basic map destroying weapons but besides that the weapon sprites were good.

Wow.

This mod is crazy.

The sprites all look good, as do the effects.

But I have two complaints:
1. Everything is insanely powerful.

2. The Soldiers are nigh invincible. They're immune to: all of they're weapons except for the telsa bomb, as well as every other vanilla weapon, excepting the dummy devastator. Oh, they're even immune to diggers.

I would suggest balancing the mod with the rest of the game, like making the guns take forever to reload, or just cutting back on the destruction.

Other than that, I really like it.

Maybe you should add some telsa melee weapons. It would fit with the whole "templar" thing.

Yup, this sure needs balance. And less glow in my opinion. My pc spasms every time I fire that wall of lights.

I ROFL'd a tad too hard at that one. Anyways, you REALLY need to balance this mod, as already stated. Besides that, it's looking good.

I'm gonna put up a updated version where i have weakened my weapons and soldiers, the heavy space templar can now be killed with usual coalition weapons :)

Well, it was kinda fun :p

The glow rape is just too much, that needs to be toned down a lot.

The actor sprites could use a lot of work. Make them look more like something original and less like coalitions with different colors. The heavy was the only actor I really used, the jetpack effects looked cool.

I found the proto weapons to be the most fun/interesting. The rest were kinda just useless. The sound wave thing was kinda fun, but the lag made me want to not use it. Keep the proto weapons, rework/get rid of the others. They were just way too powerful or too plain. The sprites looked cool but the muzzle offsets need to be fixed.

The bombs. Fun to use, too much glow rape.

Right now this mod could use some work. Tone down the glow rape and polish the sprites/weapons and you'll have a pretty cool mod. :D

Well, to quote an age-old saying...

No pix no clix, brother. You're breaking the rules.
