I thought I'd celebrate the release of build 25 with a mod with some build 25 features. The laser reaches up to 25 meters (500 pixels) and can destroy soldiers and dreadnoughts with concentrated fire. The weapon can also be used to 'strafe' an area to suppress enemy troops. The weapon can fire for approximately 3 seconds and automaticaly recharges itself from 0% to 100% battery power in 10 seconds. *Update: Fixed a map-wrapping issue.

What I had in mind was an plasma-y weapon that generates energy that you can either continuously use for infinite weak & rapid fire, or you can let off the trigger for a while, and have a big shotgun-like blast for your next shot, with respective power to how long you waited between shots. Sort of like the dummy Annihilator, but instead of holding the trigger to charge up, you let off. |

Nice, I always have thought something in CC that dynamically branches out would be cool. That could be an electrical arc like that, or trees. |
