Post subject:  Gaia Mod

This little mod is an in game terrain generator, which means it regenerates grass, moss, trees, plants and crabs!

Available in Gaia - Gaia.

Grass - Standard CC grass
Moss - Green stuff
Plants- Standard CC small plants, large plants and growing vines
Trees - Segmented destructible trees that can be shot
Crabs - Standard CC crabs

This is just a little, just because I can mod that adds a little bit more chaos to CC.

Version V1.0

The gaia actor is a null place holder for the moment.

Current version V1.1

Updated for B25 - No longer in brains but in Gaia section in menu
Hopefully fixed dead tree spawning error

Awesome you should throw jumpers in for the hell of it  .You could create a tribal actor that attacks you and a peaceful one that doesn't.It'd be neat if you could get it to create random tribal civilizations :D .

Who agrees with me that they would like to have some random Tribal towns(they're smarter than crabs/jumpers  )
to meet.CC was meant for you to meet random colonizations(look at the start up slide with the many aliens),it would add the ally with them or destroy them feel to it.

Huh CC can be weird sometimes, has it happen again or is it repeatable?

This would be perfect for meta campaign where if you ally a species, if they are on the planet you choose they aid you if not they attack you.

I am glad you guys enjoy the mod.

This mod has great potential young one.I really think it would spice up the mod if I would see some tanned(or other colored :P )Humanoids with huts(or high tech ♥♥♥♥ )roaming around.

When I first got this I was thinking "Who poured all this ♥♥♥♥ miracle grow :0 ",but this mod has created a new playing field(literally)for CC.

Btw if you added some Humanoid beings(crabs aren't really intelligent  especially when they jump at my face)that would deserve a hell yeah and parachute+trees= .

Apart from crabs you could add jumpers too! More wildlife.

The tree duplicating has happened a few times, but has only crashed CC twice.
I will try to get a picture if that helps.
Awesome mod by the way! May i ask what the naked green gaia lady is in the sprite files is?

Funnily enough it only happens to me when i use the pelian army giant.

Perhaps gaia hates giant dudes with shotguns?

Post subject:  Re: Gaia Mod

lol, it should just be a lua structuring problem,

quick fix:

Gaia.rte/Scripts/DeadTree.lua

move line 36 "self.ToDelete = true;" to line 18.

Let us know if that fixed the problem.

That is my attempt on a sprite contary is working on, it will be the gaia actor but not totally nude when finished.
