Hello and welcome to Vertigun inc., the newest in the aspiring arts of gunnery!
Here I will guide you through our products, albeit there's only 2.

First here is the M1911.

Made due to my father's love of 1911's, the M1911 is a powerful pistol that won't let you down.

Next we have the UG25b22, a lightweight SMG at the disposal of your ONE HAND! GASP!

The UG25b22 is one of the most powerful SMG's out there. It has 30 rounds, and it shoots .45 caliber bullets. It is so light and recoil resistant, however, that it can be held in one hand or dual wielded. This gun is guaranteed to please.

The Kickbuster.

The Kickbuster is a bigass shotgun that kicks like a horse. It's powerful enough to blow your enemy to dust, but created so that even a standard Dummy can shoot it easily. It has a low rate of fire and a 12 shot clip. An overall great weapon.


DISCLAIMER: This is my first mod. It's not that good, and it's mostly just a rehash of Vanilla guns. However I am proud of it and I really wanna see what you guys think. I would like some feedback for this on how to improve and what I should add next. I am not a good spriter, however and I would appreciate any sprites donated in the creation of a new gun.

CHANGELOG:
V.4 Added Kickbuster, polished a few things.
V.2 Nerfed the guns, added more sounds. Resprited pistol.
V.1 Initial

Well.

+The sprites look really good.
+The guns don't rape the terrain much.
+Offsets are almost perfect.

-No custom sounds.
-Both weapons are very expensive.
-Both weapons are way too powerful.

You probably should have posted this in the minor mods section, it's relatively small for a mod release.
Very good for a first mod, well done.

The pistol has a custom reload sound.
Also I will look into balancing the guns out a bit. Thanks for the feedback.

Edit: What do you mean by 'liney'?

The sprite looks like its mostly lines, and its obvious.
Don't be afraid to shade the outlines.

I do believe he means its a little too square-ish. Also try to vary your outline shading a little bit more, instead of black mostly all throughout, lighten/darken the outline according to light sources,.

UPDATE!

Things changed:
- Pistol resprited, begun work on multiple frames.
- Added some more sounds. I still need SMG firing sounds.
- Nerfed the guns a bit.

So yeah. I'm needing help on the 2 frame thing, cause I have both frames and CC runs fine, it just doesn't show frame 2 when I shoot. I'm also needing some sprites and ideas for guns. (please keep the ideas fairly basic, I'm obviously new at this.)

No you can attach a MOSRotating, AEmitters can preform the same task, but why would you need to use them? Unless to emit things of course.

That being said, lizard is right.

It isn't broken, they just cant use SpriteAnimMode and related variables.

Setting a gun's FrameCount = 2 means that when you fire it'll switch frame in between.

It's more obvious if you have a dramatic sprite change.
