With the current Mod Contest theme as Fire, I thought one of these would be handy.

gif is pretty choppy, but you get the idea.

Simply hold fire to unleash a stream of super-cooled chemicals that put out fires. You can also destroy the tool and create an explosion of coolant.

Oh, and the tool is actually called "Coolant Sprayer" in game, since "Extinguisher" is more then 11 characters.

maby make it so fire spreads if not extinguished?

kind of like how it does in minecraft, if thats possible,

then this would be usefull

What are the parameters of the fire it can extinguish? As in, what do I need to do to make sure my fire will be put out by this tool?

I was going to make something like this for the contest, but whatever.
Its very cool, and it works well, it gets my vote for sure. The explosion is useful for some situations, I'm glad you thought of putting it in.

That would involve every single mod maker to make their fire spread. I don't think they would want to do that.

If your fire is a MOPixel, MOSParticle, MOSRotating, or AEmitter and has "Fire," "Flame," "Pyro," "Napalm," or "Burn" in its PresetName, it'll get extinguished.

Hmmm... I thought the contest was about creating something with fire, but oh well, it extinguishes fire, so I guess this one can pass.

And it works! I dropped like ten molotovs and then extinguished all the fire. Now I feel like a fire fighter.

It'd also be cool to, with prolonged exposure to these super-cooled chemicals, turn an actor white and kill his AI

id say color the sprite a silverish color, and change its looks a little

freesing actors sounds cool

Hey cave, why don't you just call it Extinguisher?
Is it because of B23 compatability? Cause B24 fixed long names.
