Improved Vanilla Weapons V1.40
Hi everyone, These weapons are modified versions of vanilla ones, with some improvements: The HE SMG:A standard SMG loaded with HE bullets an reinforced to be able to sustain more damage without breaking. The HE Pistol:A regular pistol loaded with HE bullets, reinforced, with a better grip than the tradestar pistol. The Impact Heavy Pistol:A coalition heavy pistol loaded with impacter rounds, reinforced and improved grip. The Impact Shotgun:A shotgun loaded with Impacter ammunition, very dangerous. Improved grip and reinforced. The APFSDS Sniper Rifle:A heavy sniper rifle loaded with APFSDS (Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot) rounds, improved scope, high quality grip and reinforced. The AP Assault Rifle (AP-AR):A coalition Rifle modified to fire AP bullets that can penetrate cover and armor easily, improved grip and reinforced. The fire rate has been reduced to compensate for the high recoil generated by AP bullets. The HE Gatling:A gatling gun modified by our engineering team to shoot HE rounds with increased rate of fire, improved grip and reinforced, really the ultimate weapon. An improved spinning mechanism is also included that reduces the spinning up time.(so that the AI can use it) Here you can see it on an A-4 gunship(amrobotics): The regenerating coalition heavy:Not really a weapon, but a soldier equipped with a bio regenerator that heals him over time, he also comes equipped with a pistol. All these weapons have realistic bullet trajectories. This mod works perfectly on B24, it sould also work on B23. Download:Attachment:

Cool, it would be, if you were to make a gun with APFSDS / APDS rounds. Also, it's always amazed me hoe you make pixels explode. Does the gun fire an invisible MOSRotating aswell, or is it just a .lua script?

It is just a lua script I use to "gib" MOPixels, also the APDS idea sounds good to me, i'll try to modify the coalition Heavy Sniper Rifle to use that.

It'd be nice if you spent a bit more time making the effects pretty and not just spam the same particle over and over again.

I've shot straight through a Manhole cover with a FMJ 7.62 bullet with my Mosin nagant, so you know how powerful they should be.

I may also reduce the fire rate and/or ammo capacity to prevent that. Edit:Updated to V1.20: AP-AR added: It can easily pierce light cover and armor at medium/long range and even thin concrete walls at short range with multiple shots, don't expect much of that at long range however. The explosion sound is pretty annoying, the large cloud of fire coming out of the guns doesn't look that good either. Guns rape terrain like hell.
I'd hardly call them improved vanilla weapons, considering they are basicly just slightly more sophisticated bullet hoses. Plus, with the two frame shotgun muzzle flash and the horrendous firerate the gatling gun looks like it got a lamp stuck in the barrels.
Edit: oh and FYI, B24 doesn't have acid casings, B23 did.

Armor piercing =/= Bunker busting.
Actually, the HE SMG kills terrain pretty fast. Oh and the size of the explosions, should be about half the size or summat, would look better.
And no, the point of a gatling gun is extended firing without overheating. There's just a certain firing speed you can get when the barrel has to line up when you shoot aswell as to have it spin.
Heavy sniper kills you outright if you fire it downwards. Might be realistic, but it's not fun. Just make the effects and everything go to the sides when faced with terrain intead of rebounding into your skull.
And I'm not exaggerating, you don't polish your mods well enough before release imo, it's not that much more work to make them a lot better.
But yeah, it's not a mod without potential, that's for sure.
Edit: oh and drop all the different colors, it's just detracting from the OP.
