Photon Collider [Modding Theme Entry: Bunker Systems]
In the early 21st century, man proved that particles can be fired at high speeds into each other, producing impressive results. You would have thought that, by the planetary exploration era we are in, that scientists would have truly mastered these skills. Quote: Nah, we're still messin' with that ♥♥♥♥. The Photon Collider!By colliding photons at high speeds, we were able to create something amazing. It was almost like sparkle magic. Your controls are as follows, brain:
- The device is purchasable when building your bunker, appropriately located under: Bunker Systems.
- Once purchased, the device will immediately activate. The picture above is only a diagram of the protective shell. To show you a picture of the activated device could be detrimental to your health.
- By taking control of the device, you can operate multiple settings.
- Press the jump button to increase the power supply. It will continue increasing until the world shatters, so be careful.
- The crouch button will supply a negative power supply. This has proven to be dangerous at close proximity.
- We have as yet to attempt both commands at the same time, but we fear it will produce some crazy results*.
So without further ado, please take your copy! Attachment:

Credits for cool people: _Block for the original circular bunker modules, _whitty for letting me "borrow" one of his more dangerous pieces of code, _oh yea, Roast Veg for sprite tweaking and major coding, _mingebag7 and Azukki for pointing out my stupid mistake, and reminding me of a fix, _Base.rte for glows, _and you guys for playing, voting, or whatever else you want to do with this thing! This mod is compatible with both B23 and B24. For both, just run from a skirmish to use this thing, just like any other Bunker System. Also, I could do with some gifs, if anyone has them could they please PM them to me? *Crazy results may include but are not limited to: Oozing, wheezing, sneezing, falling over, having homosexual thoughts, being raped by tentacles, having a large explosion take out your brain, death, or any combination of the previous ailments.Older versions, should you desire them:

I don't know what this could be used for but it reminds me of mail's Lua Tech Inc. Psy Implant viewtopic.php?f=61&t=14644Can you please expand it or have some weird effects later I don't think it's a contest winner.

The "HUDVisible = 0" variable makes it not compatible with B23. Quote: This mod is compatible with both B23 and B24. For both, just run from a skirmish to use this thing, just like any other Bunker System. This claim is false.

Well, there's no excuse to not have B24 now is there?

So to make it cross-compatible, just remove the HUDVisible line, and make the CharHeight ridiculous. >5000 or <-5000.

Re: Photon Collider [Modding Theme Entry: Bunker Systems]
I should have noticed that really.
I'll do that in the next update, along with some different colour versions.

Re: Photon Collider [Modding Theme Entry: Bunker Systems]
Sorry for double-bump-post, but there's now an update!
Photons are now yellow. Neutrons, on the other hand, are blue. You may notice some slight differences when using these. I'd also like to have something fun happen when they hit each other, but that'll come later.
In the index, you can switch from B23 mode to B24 mode. The default is B23, because it's compatible with both. For B24 you might want to switch over to HUDVisible = 0 from CharHeight = 5000 because it's less buggy and less of a workaround.
I guess I should stop calling it a "Photon Collider" now that it doesn't just collide photons now, but that can wait.
See the OP for a download.

Roast Veg, just wondering, do you know what a photon is?

Re: Photon Collider [Modding Theme Entry: Bunker Systems]
Seeing the Photon and Neutron nomenclature reminds me of four distinct things. Protons (+) Neutrons (=) and Electrons(-) are small parts of molecules. that orbit a nucleus. Photons are a form of energy(?) or light(?) and do wildly different things.
Thinking along the lines of Hyperkultra here.

A photon is described as a discrete packet of electromagnetic energy. In a general sense, photons convey light and other electromagnetic radiation. Photons can be treated as particles due to their discrete nature.

Thank you, Allstone. Photons can be described as both waves and particles.
Anyway, I'm gonna make some other sub-atomic particles if I have the time.

May I suggest mesons, bose-einstein condensates, and gravitons? Hell yeah, awesome.

Because they have, if not no, then an infinitesimal mass.
