SW - Droideka B24 version now with binary 100101011
A destroyer droid (droideka) from star wars. Controls: double tap left or right to go into roll mode, stay still to change back. May cause much lag! Enjoy! ** Update: Works fine with B24 Attachment:

V1.0 - Finished droid, I may add some more complex AI mode in next version, maybe. V1.1 Woops fixed redundant code problem. Should of tested it properly first :S V1.2 Now with more binary! Using the sharpness field to store a 7bit binary number when you lose a leg or gun switching modes now does not replace the part - (still fixes wounds). Special thanks to Azukki for the rolling code, now rolling is much better, plus the sprite is now a perfect circle to it should roll better.

Re: SW - Droideka B23 version
Very well done none! (lol pun). Although I think that the shield should eventually break and the transformation system is a little wacky. Also, haven't heard from you in a while! Nice comeback.
EDIT: forgot to mention, needs its own leg sprites.

Re: SW - Droideka B23 version
Thanks man,
Yeah I got lazy and I thought that the legs matched so I just left them as is.
I wanted something that could hold its own and not die within seconds.

Re: SW - Droideka B24 version
Very nice.
But if you lose legs, the turret, and/or the gun, they can be fixed by going into rolly mode and coming back, which is a major functional flaw of the mod. Also, my jetpack button wishes it had a use. Maybe something to do with the force shield, and energy conservation? Or some kind of special jetpack? And the way it rolls isn't... right. Copy the mass, atomgroup, and deepgroup from my wrecking ball, (it's optimized for rolling, it was originally primarily a roller) if you'd like. It'd help, I'm certain, but you may need to adjust the rolling rate. Also, don't directly change velocity, juuust angular velocity, it'd make it look more legitimate.

Re: SW - Droideka B24 version now with binary 100101011
Bonjour mon ami. I am here, nobody fret. I can create a Metroid mod as my first ever mod, instead of criticizing the schnitzel out of everything. Anyways, needs polishing. It's a decent mod at most, you could improve by either making or requesting better sprites. I don't really feel as if this is a unique idea, it feels generic for some sort of reason that I can't quite explain. +2 Star Wars reference +3 Working transformation mechanic +2 Working energy shield -1 Feels generic 6/10

Yeah sure, as long as he puts credits to Coops9753, thetophat and myself. Thing to do are: - finish samus actor and scripts - Script the power ups - Finish off weapons - Add HUD indicating which suits have been worn - Update metroids script for suits Then that should be ready for release. I hope you're fluent in lua scripting

The concept of the mod is awesome and the the shield sprite is good too.
My younger brother was trying it out and he thought that the sprite could be better and that the blaster needed to be more "machine gun like." overall, I would give it a 8.5/10

Thanks,
Yep, spriting is really not my strong point. Next time I'll ask for help with sprites.
If you want more pew pew yourself, you can change lines
line 278: RoundCount = 4 // -1 is infinite line 294: RateOfFire = 200 // the mini gun has 1300 rate of fire :O
in Droideka.rte\Actors\Droideka\Droideka.ini

Wow None you just made one of my dreams come true! Thanks. This mod is well done, but I've noticed that the Droideka's Laser Guns are a little off on certain positions like when you are going up a hill. Besides that this is a very solid mod. KUDOS to None.
