Re: Green Storm Defensive Engineering - Version 1.0
BEAUTIFUL presentation! The mod is obviously balanced, using the vanilla art style. I recommend this for people who don't want to stray too far from vanilla, but want something new.
+5 Presentation +5 Balanced -2 No new mechanics

A perfect compliment to the Coalition's military might. Faux vanilla is still better than no vanilla.
7/10.

I like how it uses the Coalition vanilla color scheme. Sure, this has probably been done before, but still, it's pretty cool.

Re: Green Storm Defensive Engineering - Version 1.0
The LMG could use some sounds with more kick in them, quite possibly. HMG is nice, I like how only the tracer is visible. The burst rifle could use a tracer in each burst, possibly first of the shots. Pistol is nice, though could use some more detailing on the sprite, like rear sights. The shotgun mag placement feels a bit akward, the firerate too, might want to add something to the sound that tells you it's reay to fire again, like a click.
(oh and guys, would be nice if you didn't use numbers as an "excuse" to only type up two sentences, can't force you or anything, but it's quite the annoyance.)

I hoped this would be a reference to the actual Green Storm from the Mortal Engines quadrilogy, but no.

Great job on the mod! Love the machine guns the most. I was tired of having the minigun as my BIG gun.

I feel like these guys' design philosophy would make them pretty friendly with DarkStorm, heh. They even have similar names. Also: Quote: The weapon recycles the force from its firing cycle to load the next bullet! Hahaha. Cute.

Do they? I didn't hear about that. Still, a system of springs would make logical sense.

Re: Green Storm Defensive Engineering - Version 1.0
Not really, considering you'd have to wind a coil or something to provide power for compressing the springs after firing

Re: Green Storm Defensive Engineering - Version 1.1 (12/20/10)
Version 1.1 has been released! (12/20/10) Changes: - Modified sprites on the Shock Pistol and Heavy Machine Gun to be more detailed - Recolored sprites on the Shock Pistol, Combat Shotgun, Light Machine Gun, and Heavy Machine Gun - Added glows to the muzzle flashes of all weapons - Modified the frequency of tracer rounds in all weapons - Replaced the Light Machine Gun fire sound

Re: Green Storm Defensive Engineering - Version 1.1 (12/20/10)
Quote: The weapon recycles the force from its firing cycle to load the next bullet! All modern guns use that method. Think about a revolver compared to a modern pistol, with the revolver, you would have to click back the hammer (credit to Nonsequitorian for that) at the back for each shot. Now think about when you reload a pistol in, say COD, you would put in the mag and then pull back the thing at the top (that's to load the first bullet into the chamber). Then think about when you fire the gun, the recoil pulls the top thing back for you. Now we have that out of the way, I like this mod, they all balance nicely and i find myself now using your weapons more frequently than the vanilla ones. Could you also do a pack for the Dummies and Ronin? Good work!
