Disembodied brains brought their ships to thousands of worlds. We focus on one in particular.   Planet Diemos, named loosely after the long forgotten mythical Greek god Deimos, is a basic earth-like planet. In fact, its the same as Earth, just the landmasses are different, maybe the wildlife and vegetation too. However that was in the past, before the humans came down on it.  Now its a city planet, its polluted skies and concrete jungles have taken the place of nature. Ruled under one government, the Diemos Federation. The Diemos Federation is a militarist government, conscripting thousands of its citizens, men and women into its army, under one goal, expand its regime.    |   Re: Diemos FederationNot bad. I like the dark style of the sprites but they look like they need moar shading. The bulky soldier looks and feels very nice. The machine gun is decent, bullets are weak enough to make it fun; the minigun is a bit overpowered in that it reloads very, very quickly and has a great deal of firepower. Overall, I like it. Carry on!

   |   Re: Diemos FederationHuh. I like it. An unexpected gem. Nice to see another minigun that isn't LOL GATLING GUN. Though its capacity is a tad on the extreme side. Maybe just 200-300 rounds would be best? Edit: Oh hey, I just realized its DSMK2. I knew the style on the minigun looked familiar. Anyway, another complaint is the somewhat lackluster sounds. The firings sounds are kinda weak, and unique reloading sounds would also be good. If you have any FPS games on your computer, or mods for FPS games, look through their files and see if maybe you can't find their sound effects buried there somewhere. Then use Audacity or your sound-editing program of choice to edit them. Or just use them straight. If all else fails, try www.findsounds.com  or something. You're bound to find something decent.

 I really don't know what I am going to do with this mod. I got a little tired on Thursday working on my DSTech Faction that I just went ahead and made the guy you see above (for some spriting practice), then the next day I just worked on the guns.

D:  Well, it's an awesome mod, but as Darlos said, the minigun could use some better sounds, and the sprites need some more shading, but this loks like it has a huge amount of potential    Keep it up, DSMK2!

Yeah sorry it got deleted we were working on moderation functions which required the table to be dropped. It shouldn't happen again.
