   |   Re: Dummy ExpansionThe craft and weapon sprites are slightly too dark, and the sprites for the heavy dummy and dreadnought a are a little blocky. Other than that, I love it.

   |   Re: Dummy ExpansionWhoa. I personally think this is one of the best dummy mods out there. This. Is Awesome. But, yeah, the sprites are a bit dark.

   |   Re: Dummy ExpansionRobust and well made. There are a variety of improvements that are possible, however.Example: The escape pod could be spawned based on what team the original dropship was.
A shame about the dropship though, it looks nice and gibs fairly well.

   |   Re: Dummy ExpansionWow. I'm impressed. Your spritework is overall really good, the weapons need to be a shade lighter (or even just have highlights on them) and the fighter, though fairly well designed, should really incorporate the same hatch as the dummy main drop ship and your lander. The escape pod could do with the dummy logo transplanted onto it. The heavy dummy torso could use some reworking too. Overall though, it looks quit polished. Will playtest next time I have access to CC, if I remember

   |   Re: Dummy ExpansionNot too shabby. With some more practice, you could give LFOW a run for his money on Dummy mods.
I liked most everything, but there were some things that irked me. The Heavy Dummy's walkpath made it feel like he was shuffling along the ground. He also stood like he was awkward about being there.

The weapons are all pretty cool. The RPG is probably my favorite. Some of the weapon sprites kind of seemed half-hearted though. I also tried to use the weapons on your Dummy actors and most of the rounds simply bounced off. So the actors themselves maybe need to be toned down so they don't just reflect rounds throw their way. Might have been just my experience though....

The crafts were cool. I sure did wish that dropship worked.

Keep it updated. I hope to see that dropship fixed soon!

   |   Re: Dummy ExpansionQuote: The craft and weapon sprites are slightly too darkI took the pallete directly from the origional dummy, and I kind of like the way they are, sorry. Quote: Example: The escape pod could be spawned based on what team the original dropship was.
I don't know LUA. Quote: and the fighter, though fairly well designed, should really incorporate the same hatch as the dummy main drop ship and your lander. Why? Quote: With some more practice, you could give LFOW a run for his money on Dummy mods.
Lots more, and the abillity to use LUA, but hopefully, yes. Quote: The Heavy Dummy's walkpath made it feel like he was shuffling along the ground. He also stood like he was awkward about being there.
I should be able to fix this. Quote: Some of the weapon sprites kind of seemed half-hearted though. How? Quote: I also tried to use the weapons on your Dummy actors and most of the rounds simply bounced off. It's supposed to be like that, so that you can't friendly fire your guys. Quote: I sure did wish that dropship worked.
Can anyone help me with this? Quote: Nice Wesnoth avatar btw.Thanks.

   |   Re: Dummy ExpansionEh, he aint the Only Wesnoth coder here. (So says the dev for The War of Terrador. ) Instant download, I tried it and loved it, even with its flaws. I think this should be mainline, personally.

   |   Re: Dummy ExpansionQuote: Some of the weapon sprites kind of seemed half-hearted though.I dunno. Kind of dull, monotone. Not a lot of detail. I noticed it mostly on the RPG. Just looked like a yellow tube. Quote: I also tried to use the weapons on your Dummy actors and most of the rounds simply bounced off.Quote: It's supposed to be like that, so that you can't friendly fire your guys.Okay, I get you. But when most of the weapons you created along with most vanilla weapons simply ricochet off, it's a little too much. Because this mod seems like you were attempting Vanilla balance, I'd recommend you tone this feature down. Just my opinion.

   |   Re: Dummy ExpansionHaving a common feature between all the craft will tie them together. Also it's Lua, not LUA.

   |   Re: Dummy ExpansionWell, this is actually pretty impressive. My complaints:
The Heavy Dummy and the Dreadnought A both seem too blocky. Dummy-styled things use a lot of round shapes and curves.
Fighter doesn't seem all that dummy-like to me in terms of sprites.
As said before, the Heavy Dummy's walkpath.

 Other than that, great.

   |   Re: Dummy ExpansionThis mod crashed the game after I do the following:
 1. Start a match
 2. Order new dummy soldiers with new dummy guns
 3. Play normally
 4. Open buy menu

Then the whole thing freezes. Is it just me or what? If this error is legit, then I guess theres some kind of naming error that screws up everything somehow.

Other than that, pretty cool stuff. Love the sprites on these.
