This is a mod I made with Figgy way back when (about 5 months ago). I didn't touch it for a long time, so I thought I might put it on the web. Here it is. Enjoy, I have a few iffy spots, but I'll comb 'em out soon enough- this is a test drive. --STORY-- On earth, after the darkest century that has ever occured wiped out most of the human race, technology began to redevelop, going past where it had stopped before. Among these, 'inventors,' if you will, was a group of desperate and starving folk who had, more or less, escaped to the Antarctic. They used primitive ball and powder, very similar to the 19th century. The powder, however, often began to ignite, mainly during the Arorua Borealis, or Northern Lights. Many blamed the strong magnetic feilds of the poles for mingling with the powder. Others blamed the swirls of red, and blue, and green, the Lights. But most thought everyone else was just bat-crap crazy. Though this posed a problem, a solution came into being. The black powder was ran through a resin, flammable, yet enough moisture repelled the magnetic field. After this, a new idea spawned from a 'Mathias Fizmire,' who invented an ignition system for firearms. The bullet, encased in gunpowder, would be fired from a trigger snapping together to magnets of opposite charges. This would create enough energy to ignite the gunpowder and fire the bullet. Organized police forces soon replaced ill-armed militia, and then organized armies. The most famous, the 56th Regiment. Only the best of the best were allowed to join the force. There will be some time gaps in between updates (Which are badly needed). |

As a mod I must ask you to put a picture and small description of your mod into the first post, or I will have to lock this. |

This is mostly a resprite/add new effects of various vanilla things. Other than that a few problems: 1. Sprites could be made better 2. at the very least find some new sounds 3. one of the sniper rifles breaks when you shoot it 4. the actors are weak 5. revolver has way too much recoil EDIT: oh yea and you need to re-archive it because the way you have it now the .rte file is inside a normal folder (and so inaccessible unless you take it out) |

Couple Problems: Jetpacks for scout and sentry underpowered. MuzzleOffset for Glock is off a bit. No enough weapon diversity in my opinion. Seems like theres 2 kinds of heavy machineguns and 3 kinds of sniper rifles. |

"Sprites could've been better?" You kidding me? Those sprites are awesome. Perhaps they could use some more work but they are GOOD. |

Those sprites could be FAR better, because right now they are outlline almost black, and not showing any sign to change with the color inside. |

I'll work on that too- Figgy's working on a lot of other stuff. I have a really bad habit of outlining- But, when the weapon fires, it changes to a brightish blue in some areas. Did anyone see that? No, umm... |

I'll add something- what would you guys advise? |

The new sprites are kinda clashy, as in, the blue hurts my eyes a tiny bit when I look at it. edit: fixed by changing the brightest blue to a bit grayer blue. |

The sprites give me a nostalgic feeling, of a time where space themed toys were out there... |

Hey, it's not bad. If this is your first mod, you have a promising future. I just think the brain should look more high tech, you know, like have some tubes and wires in the bubble. This mod has that feel for some reason. |
